This course has been developed for those who are working with children and babies. It will be of particular interest to Teachers, Child-Minders, Crèche Assistants, Playgroup personnel and anyone responsible for youth organisation. It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and/or babies, who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid. In addition to that of the 1 day course, many other childhood conditions and illnesses are included.
This course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.

Certification
Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual, ongoing throughout the course. This qualification is valid for 3 years
Numbers
A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above
Duration
This course is completed over 12 hours of practical and theory work
